what is the difference between turnkey and consignment? 

Precision Technologies - eProtos.com offers three flexible options for obtaining PCB assembly quote. 1. Turnkey PCB Assembly, 2.  Consigned / Kitted Parts, 3. Mix or combination. You can get a pcb assembly quote online or by emailing your Gerber data and Bill of Material files, all compressed in a zip format to Send File Now.

There are 3 Options to Order PCB Assembly with Precision Technologies:

1. Turnkey Assembly

In this option, you simply provide the data and BOM (Bill Of Materials) to us. We will manufacture the printed circuit boards, buy components, and procure parts for you.

2. Consigned / Kitted

In this option, we will manufacture the printed circuit boards. All you have to do is supply the parts to us on tapes and reels with extras about 15-25% depending on the part size.

3. Mixed or Combination

In this option, we will manufacture the printed circuit boards, and buy most of the parts with the exception of certain parts to be supplied by you. We utilize the most advanced PCB assembly techniques for various Printed Circuit Board applications. Our expert PCB parts procurement team can help you find many hard to find parts for your PCBs.
